Matcha & Coconut Overnight Oats

This one is for all of our matcha lovers out there! We can’t seem to get enough of the refreshing taste of the matcha, which makes the perfect breakfast or snack in these warmer spring days. The richness of the matcha green tea powder, a Japanese tea, combines perfectly with the creaminess of the coconut yogurt.  

Unlike the caffeine you can find in coffee, the caffeine in the matcha is absorbed and released slowly in the body over a period of several hours. This means that you can get the energy boost without the rapid spike or jittery feeling associated with coffee. 

 

Matcha & Coconut Overnight Oats

Ingredients
Recipe
  1. Add the coconut yogurt to a sachet of Matcha green apple overnight oats.
  2. Stir until everything is well-combined.
  3. Place the lid over the jar and store in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  4. Before serving, top with the pumpkin seeds and coconut flakes.
